We have received shocking and heartbreaking news from West Papua that on 30th October, West Papuan school student Oktovianus Beteop died after being brutally tortured by the Indonesian military and police.
200 more Indonesian police sent to West Papua during crackdown

On 21st October, 200 personnel from the Indonesian Police Mobile Brigade (BRIMOB) were sent to West Papua from Makassar, Indonesia. According to the Indonesian media, they were sent “in anticipation” of the conflict in West Papua.
